Bot Exemption Rights

Exemption Rights can be purchased to enable access to intellectual property.

The only way for search engines and bots to access Safeguard Cloud content is by paying a tariff to bypass page encryption.

To apply for Bot Exemption Rights, please review the Terms of Service below and submit your agreement at the bottom of the page:

Access Rates

Websites using Safeguard Cloud have the option of allowing Bots by nominating a tariff to be paid. Some sites only want to protect their intellectual property from copycats and may bother allowing bots. But those that do can be found in the Rates List with their nominated tariff price.

Site rates vary according to the depth and expanse of their content. The Rates List is available to Bot and Client accounts only.

Periodic Billing

Annual and Monthly plans are paid in advance. However they do allow for unlimited visits during the period. These plans are recommended for search engines that have little to no control over their scheduling.

Usage Only Billing

Paying for usage only is most recommended because it not only ensures that one gets full value, but it can be more economical with properly managed schedules. Hits can be purchased as Prepaid Hits and limited to thousands of hits that remain active until used. Or they can be billed according to usage each month.
