Which versions of Windows server are required for ASPS to be installed?

The reason I ask is because in our company network we use a Windows 7 computer to provide some inhouse SAAS. To use a Windows server may be a costly upgrade for us so knowing the minimum version required may help us to decide.

Also, can ASPS be self-installed?

ChilkundasK, you will be pleased to know that any version of Windows that is PRO version can be used as an ASPS server providing that it has IIS enabled. All Pro versions since Windows XP were shipped with Internet Information Services (IIS).

As for self-install, to save time and ensure that ASPS module suits your server core and is properly configured for your computer, installation is always performed by the ArtistScope team, without exception.

Unfortunately our network policy and the fact that this computer is inhouse (closed network), access for your installation team will not be possible. Surely we can install by following good instructions?

Even with good instructions, unless you have worked with the many possible variations, emailing back and forth for assistance can be a waste of your time and ours. So it is best to have our team look at what you have set up and work from there. Also, when we have finished it will be guaranteed to work for you.

As for network restrictions, although it can be stressful, we can work via a remote desktop connection through a team member within your network. I say "stressful" because it will depend on your connection to the outside world and their temptation to play with their computer.
